Not a “smart” question at all. These are purpose built to use on boats. Overall they are much much thicker than the hippity balls you would find at a toys r us. The handle and plug are both reinforced. The blend we use is also purposed for boating including a UV protectant. If you have the two next to each other, the difference is pretty clear.

We have some exciting things coming. Keep an eye out here!

Just a heads up to anyone who missed this group buy. I’m going to open up another one key he Tige Owners Facebook page. I’ve recently joined over there and had no idea how big of a group it was. Head on over there if you missed this one.

Bought a few weeks ago. Love them. Where are you guys storing these while out on the water? Leaving at the dock?

We deflate when leaving the dock, inflate at the swimming hole, deflate while skiing/cruising, and reinflate at the dock. Sounds like a lot but each one is 15-20seconds.

What pump are you using? Manual or battery?

I leave 2 full in each front compart underneath dash. I just use my mouth

I currently use one of the 12V pumps. But I've heard great things about this pump from a customer, Mike. I believe he is on here but can't remember his username. I have one on order that should be here this week.

If I'm in a hurry and don't have time to deflate, I will clip these on top of the bimini using the surf pocket clips. Works great as a quick option.

This is Mike.. I have been using the pump since mid may. I think the this little pump is great. It takes about 50 seconds to fill a ball to capacity. It will also fill small blowup floats and rafts. The only issue with this pump is it only charges when it is off. The on/off switch is not labeled so you have to figure out which way is off. The pump is worth the 30.00 dollars. I keep mine it the glove box in a waterproof bag.

Bought some Babz balls a couple weeks ago for our Possum Kingdom Lake trip this past week. We don’t normally ever tie up anywhere and Having a 19 yr old boat I am not super concerned if I get a nick or something. With saying that I liked how the balls deflate and store real easy. So I picked up a couple.

Well we were on the main channel of the lake and the boat stayed in the water and got a bunch of rollers and one afternoon a solid storm rolled through that was throwing some massive waves! BABz Balls saves my boat , these rollers and and massive waves from the storm would have trashed my run rail and my board racks would have hit the dock and gotten jacked up! These Bumpers are a no brainer in my mind now that I have seen them in action. The shear size that they get to is amazing and really do the job!

BABz thanks for getting these out there! I should have gotten a picture. My bad

I finally got to use my BABz and they are the real deal. I have a full set, 4 of the BABz and 3 of the exile balls and there is no comparison. I thought the exile balls were great, until I used them side by side. Well, tried to use them side by side. We had a boat in each side of us Fourth of July weekend and of course it was rough and our cleats are in terrible locations, so we had three balls per side. The side I had on BABz midship and an exile ball front and back was humorous. The BABz did all the work because the Exile balls are so much smaller. Boats never though about touching and no scuffs. Worth every penny!

I used the BABz to put my boat up against a houseboat for a week. We had some pretty good winds come up and the balls worked perfectly.

I am glad I got them. Another testimonial here to how useful they are. Money well spent!

I still managed to scratch my boat (again) on the approach to the houseboat in the wind, but that was a combination of driver and helper incompetence. That wasn't the BABz' fault.
                                Be excellent to one another.
