Mine arrived last night, which was great. Only problem is that I took one out of the box to set on my kitchen island and it left black residue which was incredibly hard to remove. I saw there's a note to wash them in mild dish detergent, but I wanted to give everyone the heads up to try and do something with them before placing them on counters and clearly your boat or it may be a hassle to remove the marks.

I got black balls! Thanks for the heads up about washing. I'm horrible about reading directions! Can't wait to see how these work. 4 take up less space than one of my traditional numbers.

I'm sorry you had to deal with that. This is a problem I'm working with my manufacturer to fix. I've been told the next batch will not have this issue. For now I include the washing instructions in the note I leave in each box. But I totally understand how this could be overlooked. I myself hardly ever read these types of things that are included with products. Hopefully this will not be an issue when the next shipment arrives.

Awesome! The washing not only removes any residue. But it gives the BABz a better shine. Let me know how they perform on the water!

On a different note, have you thought about, or already have, stickers made with either the logo and/or one like the ball itself? When opening the box and say the log on the instructions (thanks for the washing tip!) we thought it was a sticker and got excited. I would totally put a BABz sticker on my truck window!
