    Indmar Raptor

Ive been on this forum since 2004 and have addressed over the years multible engine related issues , when the new Raptor engines showed up there was those out there that said they wouldnt own a Ford motor , well its been a couple of years now and several hours of use and Im not seeing any major issues crop up so I guess those Ford engines arent that bad after all ( what say you ) ?

After 80 hours the maiden summer of 2015 no issues. Let's hope the dealer winterized it correctly. Will be back on the water in May, so I still have 2 more months of agony.

there great engines....and the half closed loop cooling system makes it a no brainier to winterize and to work on.

100 hours, no issues other than I wish they came with sea strainers before this model year.

Racked up 60 hours on my 2015 Z1 after a late summer purchase, but no issues with the Raptor. Plenty of Power, even under full ballast.

Should note that the Raptor Series is being used by Tige, Malibu, Mooba, Supra, and Gekko.

indmar has a nice little page on some of the features of the raptor series

interesting, what did they dealer attribute the failure to? Was the 20 hour service done?

1977, full restomod frame off, powdercoated everything. It's a money pit, but I have been having fun! I just finished the rolling frame, body will be back on this weekend.
