Yeah, we made it down there. The property was really nice. The 'rv' park was a standard desert park. Full hook ups but pretty barren. The only concern is the water temperature, kind of seems like it could be verrrrry cold. Overall it looked great and could easily handle our size group both spring and fall.

The water is going to be chilly this early in the season! We usually do our first trip early April and, depending on the outside temps, wear wetsuits. Fingers crossed for some extra warm day temps!

Drysuit surfing, hooray!!! I'm bringing my smoke vault meat smoker and will tune up some pulled pork for everyone saturday night either at the cove or resort, TBD. Beck is super fired up and can't wait to try his new board and I'm just fired up to get out there. We're going out thursday morning and should be to the lake around 9-10. This thing's is getting legs pretty quick now. 3 weeks away...

So quick update.....the Lake Havasu Boat Show is the same weekend which means no Z3 and no Pro Rider as of right now. I assume it's too late to change the date but thought a trip down to the show might be interesting.....thoughts?

I am actually wanting to go as well.... Not sure I have all the camping gear I need.... but I am sure Jack, Cheryl, and Will can help me out... So what do I need to do.. besides show up with a truck and boat?

We usually camp about 6 miles up river at a huge beach but there are some good beaches south of cottonwood cove. They are pretty exposed though so there would have to be light winds to camp there. We have stuff if you decide to camp and of course you can use the sacs again.
