WABoating - I'd be very interested in this as well! I've got an '06 24Ve. Any idea how you/they will handle different template / color / logo requests?

My expectation is that we will nail down the number of buyers and the basic price, then each person will work directly with them so we each get the specifics we want.

My other question is the same as yours though, how do we handle the vertical strip of carpet on the edges?

I'm planning to leave mine exactly where it is and let the Deckadance run right up to it. No reason to remove it, is there?

I just looked at my 2008 22Ve - that vertical strip is definitely glued not screwed. If someone wished to remove it, they would be screwed

Well, I think leaving them is the better choice anyway so no problem. Mine are definitely screwed on, though. When I was setting up my ballast system I had to cover the points of the screws as they poked through to the storage areas under the seats. Sharp little buggers.

As I posted on the other thread, I left mine in and tucked the flooring under them. It looks clean and keeps the flooring in place. It will also allow a little room for error as the price you get won't be perfect. Some trimming will be required.

I will be measuring mine if they don't have a template. I think you can also trim it fairly easily for a perfect fit. I would hate for someone else to rely on my template though (especially since your DIY skills are better than mine).... a lot of cash if I mess up. If I have to template, I can take pics of the template in the boat and you can decide if you want to use mine or create your own.

I am planning on sticking with one piece all the way to the bow. I will likely try to figure something out for the elevation change to the bow. Maybe its a non-issue with the decadence laid down though.

Right now, I am thinking luna for the color with graphite boarder and maybe graphite logo (worried about it getting hot).

This seems to be your general viewpoint on most things. It may be expensive (actually a great deal compared to the factory option) but it has VALUE. It doesn't really rot, since it doesn't hold moisture it wont mold or mildew helping to avoid that smell. It can easily be rinsed out and dirt passes through it, remove it - rinse it and sweep out the floor and you are good to go.It helps keep things dry underfoot just to name a few. Sure it may sound like alot but it does offer several benifits you don't get with other products. We debated getting it with our boat and we are very happy we did, because of the VALUE!

That's my perspective too. It's less than I spent on either one of my custom stern fat sacs, for example, and I don't regret buying those either. Heck, the wakeboard racks for the Alpha Z tower were more expensive and we basically never use those anymore at all!

My main motiviation is faster drying compared to carpet. It doesn't rain much here in the summer, but constant wet humans and equipment in and out, the occasional wave over the bow , etc. conspire to put water on the floor. Once wet, the carpet STINKS and takes a long time to dry. I've been waiting for a good opportunity to fix that problem permanently, and this appears to be it.

IIRC, Wicked ordered from Poseidon before they went belly up and they were forcing you to go with a dealer and I think he paid less than $300. I want to say this was last year too.

Yes this is my view point because I had this done for $250 shipped lol.. I got value lol not sure what you got other than a lighter wallet lol
