Now I need help on my trailer. Should I do a solid color or two tone? Do I want 18" wheels or 15" wheels? I had 18" on my axis and really like them just not sure that are worth the money!

I like it when the bottom of the boat matches the trailer. So in your case, white. If you want some colour, add a pin stripe. As for wheels, obviously the bling factor is nice, but a consideration is the trailer suspension. The suspension on the trailer is already fairly shabby and I think the added sidewall on a 15" wheel gives a lot more cushion. So for performance I actually feel softer tires are superior. Not to mention they handle curbs better.
Note: I'm not sure if all the trailers are torsion arm like my boat mate, but I assume they are. Even if they aren't, they will be leaf spring and they aren't great either.
But if you want bling... get bling. I can't fault a guy for that.

I agree with this statement. Plus, if it's all black it will be easier to fix weld breaks and not have the extra work detract from the overall look of the trailer. Just hit the weld fixes with glossy black rustoleum and it will blend in nicely. Also, you want to save some money to save up for the next trailer you may need to buy in 10 years, unless you get the internal coated trailer from boatmate. I'm saving for my next trailer and it's going to be galvalized steel or aluminium, C channel or I-beam. I hate looking at my trailer and wondering how bad it's rusting from the inside out. And I only boat in fresh water. The trailer I had for my old Bayliner was galvanized steel and it is still solid after 21 years. It still looks like galvanized steel, it's not really pretty but it has no rust.Originally posted by boardman74 View PostI would think whatever is cheapest..its a trailer!!!! If your dealer is getting you a Boatmate Trailer then you will have plenty of choices on wheels. Mark Gibbs is in Knoxville Tennessee. He's the Boatmate area rep.Originally posted by gibbs114 View PostI need to find out what there 18" wheels look like. Tige takes care of there customers if you give them a chance. Good dealers go a long ways but if that fails you have support from the factory.Originally posted by gibbs114 View PostI am about to order a 2014 Z1 in the next few weeks and love the fit and finish of all the tige's I've seen but now I've heard some people saying the quality of the boats are going downhill from what they have seen at shows this year. Any thoughts on this.
Tige is growing like a weed right now and really pushing them selves in every direction and it includes production. Sometimes stuff gets through that should not happen but realize it is a hand made product. If there is an issue you can be assured it will be taken care of.
I have two Tige's and use them both heavily. My 2004 is very plane compared to my 2013 Z3 but gets the job done and have not had any issues in 800 hours besides water in the gas. The 2013 ran 180 hours and never a question of never getting back to the dock.
Tiges are the most versatile boat out there and make solid wakes in every department. You will not be disappointed with your decision.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3
