We didn't go for the swag.... but my gosh we got some very generous sponsors! Here are some pics of what we took home!
We won the on board charger from MLA...

I don't need to tell people here about MLA's service. I bought a cross pump from him a couple months ago. He surprised me with the new switch cover
We also won the Comptech Bag. Really nice! Didn't realize how nice it was until we go home and dug through it. Unfortunately.... my wife also noticed how nice it was....Not sure who will end up using it. I bought a Comptech trick release in last year's group buy and the quality of that is ridiculously high. Now I just need to bite the bullet and try Foiling.
The bag is currently on sale (50% off). (I think its the same bag I won) Its worth every penny of that $50 from what I saw of the quality.

Then we got some Kicker Cuzzies! Here is a pic with the led KM65's I installed a couple weeks ago. I think Kicker donated some KM8's someone won.

Absolute blast! We were wondering if it would be worth dragging 3 kids in the truck for 7 hours and it was well worth it. Come on out next year!Originally posted by WYTige? View PostGreat pics of the family Stingreye. Looks like you all had a great time!!!

It looks like a REALLY steep learning curve. It also looks like it would be really rewarding to just cruise around on it. Someday I may bug you guys to help me find a good deal on a used beginner one so if I don't enjoy it, I won't be out big bucks if I sell it. Is it something you can teach yourself or do you really need someone out with you that knows what they are doing?Originally posted by talltigeguy View Post
It has taken me all summer to get to where I am almost landing the backflip. It takes a little more time...if it were easy, they would call it wakeboarding.

To learn to cruise is not too difficult, and that feeling of floating above the water is awesome. To learn anything other than that it is so helpful to go out with someone experienced. The used foils tend to hold their value very nicely. It makes upgrading a dangerous addiction. I started with about $1200 for my first foil...now I am about $3000 deep in the one I have. But I could sell it tomorrow for $2500. Try and get that sort of return on a used wakeboard or surfboard.Originally posted by Stingreye View PostIt looks like a REALLY steep learning curve. Bill, my buddy from Minnesota, is looking to sell his. I think that would be considered a good starter foil....? PM me if you are interested and I'll forward his contact info.Originally posted by Stingreye View PostIt looks like a REALLY steep learning curve. Oh man... that is tempting! Thanks for the heads up. I don't think its in the cards right now but.... foiling has always been tempting! I am still obsessed with surfing enough that the ski and wakeboard gets mostly ignored these days. When the surfing progression gets a little more stale, I can definitely see trying foiling out.Originally posted by Bad05 View PostBill, my buddy from Minnesota, is looking to sell his. Lake Mead 2014
I just wanted to say thank you for the hospitality that I felt at this year's Tige owner's reunion. I do not own a Tige but I certainly appreciate all the beautiful Tiges that were at Mead for the weekend. The event was well organized and had a very welcoming and fun atmosphere. I did not get too many pics but here are a few.

Im not sure how well this will work, but I created a photobucket account just for us. Its Lake_Mead_Tiges and I think its open for public viewing. If it works and others want to upload your event pics to it, PM me and will give you the password.
I want to give a huge shout out to all those that were able to make the trip and especially D&P. Dave came to me prior to the event with an idea to do something for John as a thank you for his hard work in putting these events together. With all those in attendance, we were able to collect $310 in donations for a gift certificate for John.
Thanks to Tige and Offshore Marine as well as all the other sponsors like Wet Sounds, Kicker, LifeForm LED and many more.

Here are a few photos I took from the event. Enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing everyone enjoying your Tige! This was one of my most favorite events this summer, it's on my calendar for next year!
