I was going through my garage in HAVASU and have 2 pairs of ski's that look to have life in them. 1 pair of 59" good for 120 # or less and a pair of 67". Any reunion people want the ski's. Let me know and I will bring them up.

Looking at the weather forecast. Right now, it looks like the remains of Hurricane Odile may be hitting the Vegas area on Weds and Thurs with some rain. Hopefully that will either miss us or clear out by the weekend. At the moment, the forecast for Fri through Sun is looking good at Temple Bar (but we all know how accurate weather forecasts can be )...

Also - an FYI for Tall and anyone else planning to travel here on I-15 from Utah - it looks to me I-15 southbound is open again after emergency repairs due to flooding last week near Moapa. I-15 northbound is partially open again, but I think they have travel restrictions in place for commercial vehicles. You may want to contact NDOT to confirm that towing a boat will not require the trucker detour.

I have bad news. Mrs. Talltigeguy thought it would be fun to run down the mountain in her preparation for the marathon in 1 month. She hopped on a rock and the knee popped and gave out (envision jumping down the mountain ski mogul style). She tore her ACL yesterday. I think surgery will be Friday, but won't be sure until late Thursday. If that happens, I won't be there until Saturday. Mother in law and daughter who is a senior in high school will be helping, so going on Saturday won't be a big issue, she has adequate help. I was looking forward to Friday and getting to meet some more folks. If surgery is next week, I will probaby make it on Friday some time.

Wow... what a bummer! Hope surgery goes well! I have had two acl replacements and the surgery and recovering was much worse that the injury both times!

I also have bad new, but fortunately, it's not related to anyone getting injured. I am not going to be able to make it to the reunion this weekend, due to an engine that started making metal on a helicopter that I maintain. I get to be the lucky person to head to Rock Springs, WY to pick it up and deal with the engine repair. Unfortunately, I need to get it back up and running ASAP, so that leaves me unable to go this weekend.
