Hey guys, my wife and I are in LA, thinking about making the trip to mead, would love to put faces with all attending from this forum. I've met a few awesome guys already. Mike it would be a pleasure to meet you with all you've helped me with.
Can someone PM me with info about accommodations? Who we call so on and so forth? Trying to put a good group of friends to come out.
Gotta get the boat dialed in!! Now I have some more motivation!

FYI for those coming from California, I confirmed and ordered the AIS decal as its required if your boat is registered in CA. Also, the CA mussel sticker does not count. Arizona registered boats are exempt.

This sticker is most interesting to me. The pupose of the bill is to fund suppot of not introducing these species into NV waterways. However most if not all of these waterways have already been impacted by this
. Seems to be just another goverment money maker to me... Rant over!!!have a great get together everyone...

Nope not available at gate, whole thing started as I am always going to places that inspect so I called up Temple Bar and they told me to be sure I bought a sticker and its NOT available there. But over the phone and as long as you have the decal number to match you are good, when I bought mine they said I could launch that day if I wanted.Originally posted by talltigeguy View Post

It is simply a money grab, nothing more. Think about the process to get the sticker, all you do is pay money. No inspection is required.Comment

It is interesting that I was at Lake Mohave last week and this was never mentioned. I am from CO and did not have a sticker. I was up at the basin a few miles from cottonwood and had to do a safety inspection by a Ranger (that's another story LOL) and he never mentioned the AIS sticker or if I had been inspected....Comment

I received a ticket on the 4th for no sticker....didn't help that I had forgotten to even register my boat for the year! HA! Just another fee.....but hey, they did add a voluntary wash station which could be handy come end of year to clean out the bags and bottom of the boat with HOT water!Comment
