The grey material in the interior versus the pearl. That I wasn't happy about, not a fan of how it looks and I loved the carbon fiber look. Also not a fan of the grey powder coat on all handles and vents, etc. I liked the brighter look. I am also disappointed they decided to go away from PCM. I really liked the way my boat performed with the PCM. Good power, great fuel economy and it was quiet. Dealer is telling me the indmar is way louder and its pretty well known their fuel milage is worse. I am excited to see the new boat if it ever shows up. All in all nothing I'm very excited about. Oh yeah the extra thru hulls and the pop up gas cap...those I like! We will also have a VX, we didn't on the 13 as it was an early boat.

I will agree that every malibu I have been on (several 2013s and a few 14s) are much louder exhausts then the PCMs. They also suck the gas down too.Originally posted by boardman74 View PostThe grey material in the interior versus the pearl. IMO one reason Bu's suck gas is the wedge they drag around, Tige's Convex hull and Taps 2 keeps anything from "dragging" and killing fuel mileage and efficiency. Just different boat design that causes the fuel consumption differences.Originally posted by barry1me View PostI will agree that every malibu I have been on (several 2013s and a few 14s) are much louder exhausts then the PCMs. They also suck the gas down too.

I'm open-minded about the Indmar engine change but must say that PCM has been a GREAT company. I've had a couple of issues and questions and they have stepped right up. Maybe Indmar is as good, or better, but PCM sets a pretty high bar.

I agree completey....Im all for PCM. How many different engine marinization companies has Tige used in the past 10 years.....3 now correct? They keep changing for cost savings. Mastercraft was with Indmar for a long time untill they went bankrupt and screwed over Indmar, thus Ilmar was created.Originally posted by WABoating View PostI'm open-minded about the Indmar engine change but must say that PCM has been a GREAT company. How long has Correct Craft Nautiques used PCM.....I believe almost 30 years.
