Duncan- yes for the vision air. I got a taller one from my dealer. I think I went 4 or 5 inches taller. For a Vision Air seat? Any details re what product works to extend pedestal height?
[QUOTE][The vision air seat flips up so you can see over the windshield better. It's just the front part that rotates up and back to create a higher seat./QUOTE]
I hate sitting on that bolster. The vision air is just too comfortable to have to sit on it.I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

07 was the 1st yr for the Vision-Air and the only year Tige offered an adjustable post. Most failed so the went back to a fixed post on the 08's and for 07 warranty replacements.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Was this much trouble to add? Did you have it done at the factory during the build or after-market?Originally posted by Ewok View PostI also added an extra pop-up cleat in the middle of the boat, it's a great place to hang a bumper like I did in this photo but it's also good for mooring and/or rafting up.

You're luckyOriginally posted by rushin View Postour 07 didn't come with a adjustable pedastal.
J/k, if it was a late enough 07, it may have already been changed by Tige before it was built

If you just want to change the height permanently, I was just reading an older thread in which Rick Correll said to call Harvey at the factory. Tige can sell you a different length post for your seat.Originally posted by Duncan View PostAnyone know of a (reliable) adjustable pedestal that fits the vision air seat?
If you want it to be adjustable, I don't know. Maybe install a bottle jack?

My dealer added it, I got plain Jane pop up cleats, about 170 bucks installed. Cleats with Tige logo cost twice that.Originally posted by Coop View PostWas this much trouble to add? There might be some adjustable pedestals on iboats or overtons. The OP might need to add a new seat bottom and base but there are parts available.Originally posted by dingleberry View PostIf you just want to change the height permanently, I was just reading an older thread in which Rick Correll said to call Harvey at the factory. Tige discontinued the 12" post. Only the 9" is available.Originally posted by dingleberry View PostIf you just want to change the height permanently, I was just reading an older thread in which Rick Correll said to call Harvey at the factory. Tige can sell you a different length post for your seat.

I just noticed something interesting about this picture. I had dicussions with many others about the best place for the boat numbers, since the graphics are kinda right in the way. I thought I would have to put the numbers way up at the very front or where I ended up placing them, above the rub rail toward the windshield. I never thought of putting them right in the midst of the graphic. It is simply an option I never thought of, and this issue is obviously something that must be addressed by every RZ2/RZ4 owner.
