Nice job! For such as small area the casual passerby would have no idea the amount of work that went into that "sun pad". It blends right in and looks factory, a regular transom activity center you have there
Thankyou sir. I've always felt that if no one notices at first glance, its a good thing. Well see how the crew reacts to it. I'm sure they'll appreciate me not having to **** around in the trunk to make the surfwake happen. That was the ultimate motivation.

Congratulations, job well done!
Very supurb work you have done. Glad to see it all come together. We all know the amount of work and the attention to detail you did. Thanks for sharing those pics. Great job.

Thanks guys. I'm sure that if I had to do it again, I could do it much faster. Working it out as you go takes twice as long or in my case three times as long. Oh well, it'll be worth it.
A couple more pics. I put in some velcro straps to keep the vent lines from dangling around in the openings of the ballast lockers. Also a pic of the lights.
Looks nice. I wish I could execute the attentioin to detail, My mind pictures great outcomes of my projects, my execution suffers.
The lights look killer, Glad you will get some use out of them
Thanks again Jim. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. You came through at the right time. I'm glad I could take them off your hands.
I was reading your ballast thread from back in '07. Classic thread. Gate valves. That was the hot item. Some classic SP and some early chpthril gettin in there. That Rival package. Good times.
Success! Sacs fill in a tic over 5min (5:14). They completely fill their compartments. The vents spout like a fountain. The hatches hold firm and are rattle free. Don't know how the new bilge pump works as I have no leaks. Rubrail is at the water with just one dude in the back seat which means the wake has good size. I need to play around with it a little more. I had one short ride and it was a little windy so it was a kinda tough to gauge but, the size is definitely there. The wife had much better conditions and she loved it.
With both sacs empty, the balance of the boat seems much better. I'm not sure if it is because of the fuel tank but, I suspect it is. With the tank only sitting on the stringers, it doesn't allow the fuel to slosh down to the low side of the tank which used to be all the way to one side. Maybe I'm crazy, IDK, it seemed much less tippy.
Forgot the camera. Had to take pics with the camera. Crappy at best. I will post some real pics at some point.
