Thanks man. The bottom of the hatches still look kinda funky. I was worried about the weight with those hinges. While just about perfect in design for what I need, they aren't overly strong. They are at maximum capacity right now and if I shake the boat around, they will let the outer hatches fall. The center ones are perfect. They hold great. I think I'm going to add another set to the outer hatches though. Then I can do some trim panels for the bottoms. I just had him slap some carpet on them for now to get it up and running.Originally posted by Iwndr View PostVery Nicely Done Nicky! Very Nicely Done
Those hatch covers turned out great and Those hinges you found look like they are the way to go

Nice job! For such as small area the casual passerby would have no idea the amount of work that went into that "sun pad". It blends right in and looks factory, a regular transom activity center you have there

Thankyou sir. I've always felt that if no one notices at first glance, its a good thing. Well see how the crew reacts to it. I'm sure they'll appreciate me not having to **** around in the trunk to make the surfwake happen. That was the ultimate motivation.Originally posted by Ewok View PostNice job! Thanks guys. I'm sure that if I had to do it again, I could do it much faster. Working it out as you go takes twice as long or in my case three times as long. Oh well, it'll be worth it.Originally posted by skippabcool View PostLooks very professionalYou'll get your chance, smart guy.
