It's gotta go out the back. It is what it is.

New deck fill is in. I think its gonna work. I knew it was gonna be close so I was relieved when slid the tank up to it.

I fabbed up a support for the tank floor. It will hang from the center platform bracket bolts and support the new section of floor. I don't think I actually need it as I can stand on the new floor section without it even being screwed down and it doesn't move in the lightest but, why stop over building it now? It was a piece I knew I could easily make and it would make the whole section more or less bulletproof.

Progress has been a little slow the last couple weeks.

                  Thankyou sir.

I really like the hinges. They have a little gas spring in them that holds them open so besides the latch, that is it for hardware hanging in the box. No big ol gas spring and the ball tips you normally see on the under side of hatches. They also allow for a 3/4" overlay which is going to be key on the center hatch.

That was a nice touch,I did not notice the gas spring till you mentioned them. I am not too big a fan of the gas shocks and piano hinges. Will your pad and vinyl attach directly to these panels?

I hate piano hinge. I've worked with it many times and no matter how you look at it, its archaic in design. In this day and age, there are so many brilliant hinge designs that using piano hinge is just lazy. Your basically just saying, "Eh, this'll do."

So ya, these lids will be upholstered. It's been a while since I've done upholstery but, I might just give it a go. I also just might have them done. The rear bench seat neads to be redone and I'm not tackling that so, I might puss out on 'em.

Almost done fabricating. Just need to do the wire and hose chases for the sides of the lockers and a few other random pieces. Also need to finishes the hatches. I ran the fill/drain lines on the inside of the stringers. You can see the quick connect fittings just poking out down in the corner. The vent lines look like they'll work out just fine.
