    Coil wakesurfer

Coil industries makes boards for the ocean that have met with great success. It is a stringerless EPS with, what appears to be 4 layers of fiberglass laid up on different biases. The dark fabric along the rails is "microfiber" that is supposed to be less stiff than carbon but more than just the normal laps.

It's not the lightest board, probably 4.5 pounds, but it's definately light.

We are looking forward to taking it out.

It does look small doesn't it? 4'5", 20" at wide point and the tail is...shoot, 14? I think! don't quote me on that.

Will do Samw. Yeah - do you like the silhouette of James' head? Way back in the day when James was in grade school we had an awesome Minister at the church. The Sunday School program just kept the kids riveted. It's a little hard to see, but across the top of that picture frame is a Palm from a Palm Sunday program and I think the construction paper tie and yarn was from a similar program, the "palms" present on the cut out.

The Sunday School program sort of took a nosedive with a change in the leadership, but for a period there the kids couldn't WAIT to go...which also drove up parental attendance.

Ya I did notice the palm leaf. Although I wasn't sure what it was. Props to you SD for raising a fine young man in a world gone crazy. I hope I can do the same with my girls.

You might be a boating family if.....

....you have a bench made of wakeboards in your foyer.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

@ Kona - that is SO kind of you! It's always been my experience that parents that worry/hope/think about being good parents wind up being the best. I am certain you will raise wonderful ladies.

Jason isn't that a hoot? James won that at a contest in AZ - the LF distributor put that out as a prize and James snatched it. We had to disassemble it to drive it back home. It's signed by Darin Shapiro and Shaun Murray! Those will be grand memories.
