Gosurf Assist / Wave Control on a Z1

Here are a couple pics of my go surf assist mocked up on my Z1. Had to alter the swim deck brackets and the hinges. Not quite happy with the directions from wakemakers but the guy from go surf answered all of my questions. image.jpgimage.jpg

I paid 3600 for it. Pretty steep but i was on the verge of buying a new boat so it's quite a bit cheaper than that.

I see from your first picture that you had to cut your swim platform brackets. I'm assuming that is because you needed the space when the tab is in the up position. Looks like a really nice install so far.

Yes. I wanted to keep the tabs at the recommended distance from the outside of the hull (4") so I decided to do that instead of moving the tabs another 4" inside. I had these brackets sitting with the old swim platform that I had before I put the VX on.

First test will be the end of next week hopefully. Should finish the install today if I can get out of work early.

No. It has its own controls, gps and master controller.

Didn't get it finished today but I did get the controller mounted. Plenty of room even when the throttle is being used.

Yes. I think they will be fine. But I am having others made that look a little nicer they will be stronger also. I already had these so I figured it would be an easy way to mock up.
