How to weight a 2014 RZ2 for surfing

I just bought a new 2014 RZ2 with the surf ballast (400# up front and 1200# in back) system and am just wondering what the best way is to weight it for a good wake. I'm left foot forward as well. Also what is a good depth of water to be in?

First off I have surfed a lake that the deepest it got was 10 ft and it was no fun. O.k. Well less fun. I think deeper than 16 is great. The best wave we have had on my 08 (same hull). Has been full Enzo sack in the rear ( I'm guessing 1400). A 750 starboard rear and two 260 up front, one in each locker. Taps at 3 and about 11 mph with one passenger sitting at the windshield. Awesome height and even better push. had to stand one the tail and push down just to keep away from the boat. I don't have a VX but this setup surfs better than a 2012 Z3. Obviously I'm a bit biased as I LOVE MY BOAT!!!!!!

Sometimes you have to do what feels good, rather than what feels right.
