    One pound wakesurf board

Ok technically it's still naked without fins and traction and I'm being very liberal with that 1 pound, as it's closer to 2 pounds than 1 pound, but I was rather impressed with the weight of this board at this point. It has 2 layers of carbon fiber on the deck and 1 layer on the bottom and a 2 pound density eps core.

It could be ridden like this, although we won't.

The carbon fiber is a 3 oz per square yard areal weight, compared to the 6 oz that is most often seen. I've been playing around with a new method for vacuum bagging the lamination and I think it worked!

That's impressive Jeff! I saw your FB post this morning and thought you might be kidding about a 1lb board but you're not! As always, I will be following along on here and FB! Yeah!

Hey wickedcummins, thanks for following along and the interest. I don't sell anything. The only commercially available product is the Flyboy divison James Walker signature from Inland Surfer. They build for us. However, if you are ever down this way, give me a shout and you can test any of the boards I still have.

Thanks for following along Timmy! Yeah, I'm a little liberal with the whole 1 pound board thing , but I was rather astonished at the weight, the reinforcement I used and the new technique produced a super light board.
