RZ2 Platform differences

Over the winter I finally picked up the newer style platform for my '07 RZ2 and I must say that I am VERY pleased with the difference that it made. First off the Sea Dek, wow is that stuff nice compared to the little "e"'s that are all over the old one. Secondly, the wave develops so much cleaner. The platform still rides in the water a little bit but it's so much better than the old one that I am not going to complain too much about it.

One of the best upgrades you can do to your surf wave! I did it last year and it is amazing the results. Enjoy!!

Oh yeah, we are still rocking the wetsuit because the air temp was 73 and the water was 58. This time last year, the water was close to 70 degrees! It just doesn't want to warm up in Colorado this year!

The new deck looks good. I think the black deck makes the boat look sharper. I wish mine was black.

Is that on the private lake you go to?

How do the undersides compare? Is the new one dead-flat? Was the old one? I'm asking because there is some debate as to the effect of a recessed underside on the cleanliness of the surf wave.
