    Wakesurf board nose protectors?

Someone suggested that we get a nose protector for our new Infectious board, to protect it from impacts with the swim platform while we are learning.

I've searched online and can't find anything like that. Do they exist? Are the board-specific? (Seems like they'd have to be.) Worth doing, or a gimmick?

    Consider getting some of this

    http://shop.waterboyz.com/browse.cfm/4,3644.html

    or this

instead of the nose protector. Your boards will get a ding sooner or later and it may not happen on the nose.

So just plan on fixing what breaks? Fine with me, that's my normal approach anyway. I was just wondering about this guy's recommendation.

There must be some validity to the nose protector, but I don't know of anyone that uses them + why doesn't towanza, ect. sell them?

I think that IS used to sell the protectors, but it has fallen off their site as of late.

Contact them and see if they have any left, if you still want one.(425)747-6055 or info@inlandsurfer.com

I frankly forgot to ask. Todd was streaming out so much data so fast that I was busy learning and didn't think of it. I'll drop them an email.

They are used to protect the rider more than anything else for surfing.

looks like you could fab something up from Home Depot to do the same as that nose cone.
