Is the Proline Faction Handle/Rope a good rope

Boardersbest buy has the setup for $85 shipped, and I was wondering if I should buy one. I don't have a wakeboard rope, just waterski ropes, (we are going to learn how to wakeboard this year) and I have been thinking about getting a wakeboard rope.

buy it...i just got a new accurrate handle and line a couple weeks ago, you cant beat that website

The one thing you have to think about is the fact that the main section is 65'. As a beginner you won't be riding anywhere near that distance so you will need to tie it off a little closer.

Did you buy your boat from WWS? If so, they will hook you up on ropes and handles.

I actually just bought that setup from there. The rope iself goes for 100 alone on other sites. Couldn't pass it up. I have two cheezy rope/handles and had to upgrade.

Did you check with Bill first? I bought a Proline LG handle and rope that was $120 on all of the sites at the time for like $90 from them. I know this was only $85 but... and don't forget the Friday night Tige Owners sale at WWS (Saturday for non-owners).

I havn't checked with Bill yet. I live close to an hour away from his store, and don't get up there much. Add fuel for an SUV, and it raises the price quite a bit.

I also didn't buy my boat from him, I got it used. I did have him check it out, and will use him for all maint, and major purchases. I wonder if I will qualify to attend his sale on Friday night. Anyone in Parker or HR going?

Also, what does he do different on Friday that he doesn't do on Saturday? Or maybe it's just first come, first there for the selection?

I know, I'll be at the sale, but i didn't want to risk missing that sweet deal. I did order it late so hopefully they dont ship it too fast in case i find something better. Was going to check out Tommy's swap on Saturday too.

Well, I didn't order one. For some reason I thought they'd be up there till they were gone, and I got a new email this morning with a wakeboard. Oh Well.

I am going to try and make it to Tommy's swap tomorrow, if I have time, I can then head up to WWS. I have a crazy day tomorrow, but hopfully I can squeeze at least one of them in.

Diesel - What part of Aurora do you live in? Are you going to WWS tonight? If so, maybe you could take a peek at Bill's ropes, and give me a call on my cell??? I could meet you on Sunday and pay you back, and pick it up. Just a thought.

It was $99 for the rope and $59(or 69) for the handle at WWS. Their deal was 10% off. That deal for the rope and handle at 69 (84 shipped) was a steal. I'm sure it will come up again.

I missed it. They have it listed on boardersmall for $79 + shipping now. I just talked to them, and they don't know if they have any more in stock.

they have the Proline LG Handle and Line for like 85 bucks. I kinda didnt like the new handle seems like the 2007 handle was a little thicker. Maybe its just broken in. thought it was a good deal. Line doesnt tangle up at all unless you tie a knot on it, other than thats I love the Prolines and Handles. Also think they have a discount on the site think its spend 150 and you get like 20 bucks. Not sure what else you can buy but I ordered that handle combo and a wakesurfer. Goodluck
