    NorCal INT 6/9 - 6-10

Had another great time at INT. A blast for the whole family. We practiced a lot the last couple of weeks, and my kids are really doing great. It is amazing how it has transformed our boating. My kids want to go everyday, and just can't wait to try new tricks, and pull trick runs together. I love it.

I am attaching some general pictures, including my daughter Maddie winning an inland surfer limited edition Woody skim board. Dude! I have won 2 great surfboards on our first 2 INT events. How cool is that? I have added 2 dbot5 surfracks to my tower, work great.

    PODIUM PICS

    Here are the podium pics.

Image 1, Thomas (2nd) gets his first podium finish. He has been practicing a lot, and is throwing down complete trick runs, and a wild card. Granted, some of his tricks are waving. But this INT, he had an ollie, and got out of the wake.

Image 2, RJ (2nd) has some serious competition with this 12 year old girl. RJ is 11 and she has been boarding longer, however, RJ is closing the gap. It is great to see these kids push each other, yet be great sports.

Image 3, Ashley (1st) eeks out her sister Whitney (2nd) and jesse just gets on the podium to be like her big sisters. Whitney won Ashley last INT, so they are really going to be pushing to beat the other.

Image 4, Thomas (2nd) gets on the podium again the second day.

Image 5, Ash and whit again.

      One More Podium

RJ landed his wildcard trick, which was a wake to wake indy grab. He barely grabbed, it was more of a tickle, but it got him 1st place.

The second image is just him and his competition. She is going to wakeboard camp next week, to nail her 180s, so RJ is going to have to step it up.

Congrats on the finishes. They are all still young and learning. Maybe one day they will be sponsored by Tige...

I think INT has an event coming up here at Bell Aqua in Rio Linda, or it may have past already. I do wish there were more events up in norcal

They are about once a month. The next is NEXT weekend at villa logos again, and the one after is at the DELTA.

WWA also has events, all at villa logos.

Its called Villa Logos, it is a small private lake, very small. Not just for kids. You can pay like a $1500/yr membership to get priveledges. And probably tube free.

its just a strip. There are 2 strips of lake, just long enough to do 22 mph for about 45 seconds and tight turn. But always glass. Only one boat at a time. The other strip is a bit longer, and for slaloming. So not much room to get your groove on, much less get airborne in a tube. ;-)

so how many boats are allowed per day? Is there a waiting list or certain days you can go out?
