These steering cables dont have to match exactly. The only things that need to match are the type, Rack and pinion or Rotary, and length.

My cable doesn't have any numbers printed on it after the 204.0 so I don't know what they are. Agree with noworries, lot no. sounds like an idea. Give Marsh Brothers a call, another thread led me to the eBay listing and website.Originally posted by Richierich33 View PostSeems like you're really close with this but on the ebay picture it shows the part number ending in 7401 and mine ends in 8451. Now you broke down every part of the part number except that.

From what I've been reading a Morse rotary helm and a Teleflex rotary helm do not have the same connection at the helm end. Teleflex has an adapter to use a Teleflex cable with a Morse helm. I haven't seen an adapter for the reverse. Teleflex used to make cables for Morse helms, but I think they have been discontinued.Originally posted by zad0030 View PostThese steering cables dont have to match exactly. Why not just replace both the cable and the helm then.Originally posted by R&T Babich View PostFrom what I've been reading a Morse rotary helm and a Teleflex rotary helm do not have the same connection at the helm end.
