That's great. I would still find out when the last time the impeller was changed. You need to change them out every 2 years, max. Some folks even change them every year.

Since it's not a V drive I would change the impeller every year. It's not that hard after you've done it a few times. The oil should drain out of the hose by the way. He's got a direct drive and should drop the hose through the drain hole in the middle of the boat. Glad you got it running!!!!!
