    Bent Prop

I was out this past weekend in my switch i, and hit a floating piece of driftwood. I noticed a little vibration when I got speeds over about 25 MPH. Sure enough when I got it out of the water I noticed a small bend in the prop. The bend is probably about 2 inches, and looks like a pretty clean one. I am not sure if I should try to bend it back myself, or not?? It looks pretty easy to bend back but I'm not sure what to do. Also I was wondering if I took the boat out again with the prop bent, if I would do any damage? I am new to the game and any advice would be greatly appreciated! Txs all

Sorry to hear about your mishap. That blows, and I have been there. Unfortunately, I suggest maybe trying to bending it slightly. Problem is, that if it is not rebalanced, you can wear out seals and bearings...I would go ahead and consider maybe sending it off to get it rebalanced.. I decided to buy another 'power prop' for a weighted boat, and when I got my original bent prop back, keep it for a back up if ever a terrible thing happens again.
    Good luck.
