Has anyone used the Glide cutlass bearings?

I just replaced my shaft seal, and while I had it out I replaced the cutlass bearings also, with the plastic Glide bearings. Took the boat out for the first time since, and the bearings are squealing a bit at low rpm. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this.
Pretty sure the bearings I removed were the originals.

The bearings don't need to be replaced unless they're worn from misalignment or thousands of hours of use. Never heard of Glide but as long as they're not trying to reinvent the wheel, naval bronze tube and nitrile rubber bushing, they should be fine. If you've got a squeal, your alignment is off. 99% sure you'll have a sagging engine and trans on the motor mounts and the shaft is now rubbing on the new, tight tolerance cutlass. Check it out and give us an update.

      Their bearings are plastic.
I was assuming alignment also. Guess she’s gonna have to go to the shop.

I did a write up on alignment here years ago, super easy for anyone with mechanical ability. I'll look for it and post the link but if I can't find it I'll rewrite for the forum.
