A have a 2001 21V . . . lately, when I press the TAPS switch, the system seems to draw too much battery voltage . . . it causes the WAKEBOARD PRO gauge to shut down . . . I checked the plate to see if it is moving and also disconnected it from the plungers and it moves freely. The reservoir is 2/3 full and there are no leaks that I can see. The motor is working but seems to be working very hard . . . any thoughts on what I can test or look at??? Thanks, Steve

Re: Re: TAPS System Issues
Do they train you to say this at dealer school? Every time I ask my dealer what it would cost to add an option to my boat it's at least $3K. This is usually followed by a long rationalization about how I need to get a new boat.Originally posted by lee
Try the new RZ2 at your local dealer!
To answer the question, it sounds like there's either something in your hydraulic lines or the pump itself is starting to go.Last edited by dogbert; 11-14-2006, 12:37 PM.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."
