My Tige 21i has slight pull to right. Is there a way to get it to run strait?

I've been told the pull to the right is caused by the torgue of the engine and that running a four bladed prop helps reduce the pull but will not eliminate it. I've got a 3 bladed prop and if I let go of the wheel going 25 the boat will make an immediate sharp turn to the right.

If you find anyway to eliminate the pull let me know. -Tip

hey guys, i was told (as mine does to and so do my 3 buddies who all have tiges) that they have a slight pull to the right so that you can keep th boat straight. if it was completly centered, it would be harder to keep them straight. if you think about it, especially while driving, it makes sense. if it drove straight there would be no tention and would actually be more difficult to keep straight.

all single prop boats are going to have a pull. It's part of the deal since the prop is spinning, and there is nothing to correct it. If you really don't like it, pull your steering wheel off and readjust it so it looks like its centered or what have you and that you won't notice the pull as much.

What this is called is "a loaded rudder". A neutral rudder will allow the boat to drift side-to-side, kind of like yaw.
Tige sets each boat to have the steering centered at 30mph into the wind.
The only way to correct/neutral a rudder is to grind the trailing edge. Doing this is a one-way street, if you do it wrong you will probably need to buy a new rudder.
Every customer that has insisted on have their rudder adjusted has regreted it. Just a little food for thought.

              Greg,
I'm not sure I understand 'centered at 30..'
By centered at 30 mph do you mean that if I'm going 30 mph, into the wind, and I let go of the wheel the boat should continue straight ahead?

No, the boat will always pull to the right, more the faster you go. What I meant was the steering wheel will be straight. Any faster or slower the wheel will be turned to the left or right.
