    Steering cable part #

Anyone know the steering cable part # for a 97 Pre2100 and where to purchase?

i bought mine through Amazon. I found the part number on the outside sleeve of the existing cable. Others might be able to help with other particulars

Not sure on the part # but check lowcostboatingstore.com. The part # should be on your old cable by one end or the other

Thanks. I'll check the cable. Called several Tige dealers and they said they need the length.

You could need the 15' rotary cable.

Got this email from Tige so I thought I would post it for future reference: "The 1997 2100i was equipped with the Morse Controls rotary steering system and based on parts history, the steering cable item number is 304411-180 which is a 15’. There are a few online vendors who carry this cable. We no longer stock replacements for this generation."

            Thanks Justin

Glad you found it and updated your post. Good luck on the install. It should be fairly simple.
