    2007 RZ4 MP 5.7 Starter

    Hi Guys,

Quick and probably simple question. I have a 07 RZ4 with the MarinePower 5.7, and recently the starter has decided to die. I've done all of the troubleshooting listed in other threads with regards to relays and the like. With no local dealers I'm trying to source the part online. Using the part number from the Marine Power parts list I keep getting results saying it's Clockwise rotation, but then the Arco site says CCW.

I figure someone here must know for sure to save me ordering the wrong part!

    Cheers!

Someone smarter than me will likely know but if its a block mount starter it spins one direction and if its a top mount, it spins the other direction.

Chris bought one for a Marine Power 5.7L from DB electrical so they likely have a cross reference there:

Might be one of these two starts but try calling DB electrical and ask them for which one you need.

I have the top mount DB Electrical for the 6L motor on my boat.

This is exactly the starter I need - except it comes in Clockwise and Counter Clockwise rotations and I'm unsure as to which is correct.

That's the Arco version, so it's either 30456 or 30457 and I have no idea which.

      Thanks!

I use the Arco 30459 for replacement starters.
