I have directions for the upload, but it doesn't seem to recognize that a USB is plugged in. What's the method of uploading? Here is what I did. 1. copied the file named "update-full_Tige_HV700T_2710526_5192015.tar.gz" onto a blank USB drive. 2. plugged it into the USB cable under the dash. 3. turned the battery on. Hold top left button (arrow up button for speed).

the directions tell me that i should get a booting screen; however, I think I need to turn the electronics on with the blue button next to the ignition but the directions do not mention this. When I turn this on, the screen says booting as it does every time and the system boots up normally. I never get the chance to select the upload. Did it do it automatically? I did the update because I wanted control of the Taps in the driveway. The dealership told me that the flash would give me this functionality. Thoughts?

That doesn't sound like the right file. The one I have is called viper.mem or something like that.

A tar file is actually a bundle of files. A gz is a for of compression. You need to "unzip" that file first.
