Speedometer not working and cruise control

gone all last season without a speedometer and its getting really annoying, im wondering where can i start looking for the source of the problem. i know the boat has 2 spinning wheels one mid of the bottom of the boat and one at the stern of the boat. The Boat has Cruise control on it but i never could seem to get it workig so i unpluged the wheel by the throttle body. and advice would help thank you.

Stern paddle wheel is speedo and middle is cruise control. Do they both spin and have all four blades on them?

I'll go check for the 4 blades but they both do spin freely

Same issue that just happened to me yesterday, that's why I'm searching this issue. Worked great most of the day then last hour, speedo stopped working. Everything else on boat works as it should. What to do now? '08 Z1
