    2 things about 05 22v

My steering is getting pretty stiff. What cable do I need to order to replace?

I have also started noticing that my TAPS gauge is showing that it is not staying put. For instance when I power up the gauge shows it is all the way up whereas it may have been all the way down until I powered down. Is this a sign of hydraulic issues?

    Thanks.

You first need to determine if you have a lenco or bennet, early 05 had a lenco and by design would pull back into wakeboard mode about 5 mins, after the key was off.

Here's the instructions to change the cable: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...le+replacement

I would note two thing about changing the cable
      1. Regarding getting rid of the old cable -- I would suggest cutting it in half between the gas tank and engine. Some suggest using the old cable to fish a line up to the dash to use to bring the new cable back down through the dash and above the gas tank. I just fed some steel wire down from the dash and attached something to the end to give it some weight. I then used a straightened wire hanger to hook the line and pull it above the gas tank. Last, I tied the steel wire to the loop in the end of the new cable to pull the new cable over the gas tank when feeding it down from the dash.

      2. Do not use an adjustable wrench. I used one because i didnt have a 1 1/8" wrench and this made my life so much harder. If you don't mind cutting it in half like suggested, it would definitely make things easier as well since there's little room to turn under the motor.
