    Taps hydraulic cylinder leaking

It looks to be leaking fluid from where the hydraulic piston anchors into the stern of the boat. It's a small leak, but I would imagine it's not a good thing. The boat is a 2012 R20. Has anyone run into a similar situation. Was it an easy fix?

More than likely its the tubing fitting that attaches to the ram. Pull the scres out and pull the cylinder off enough to get a wrench in to tighten the tube fitting. See if that stops it. Sometimes you have to trim the tubing off 1/2" and get a new nut ferrel set to get it to stop.

I just had that issue on my 2012 RZR and my dealer says they have fixed a few already. My issue was that the hydraulic fitting just needed to be tightened, but when I removed the hydraulic piston from the back of the boat the coil wires for the gauge pulled out of the coil.

I only moved the piston about an inch from the hull to get a wrench in, but the coil part that should be attached to the piston was stuck to the hull from the sealant they used and it was just enough to pull two metal wires out of the coil.

I called bennett because I did not want to drive three hours to my Tige dealer for warranty and bennett was extremely helpful and I was able to get a brand new upper hinge and coil for $35, and took less then a half hour to install.

if the coil wires dont pull out, its a super easy fix.
