That one is water injected and you don't want it. You might call them or call Nelems Marine in Jasper they are good people. 205 221-3072

      finally...

Finally got the boat in the water for the first time this year on Sunday. Had the wife with me so I was able to adjust the stuffing box/Flax packing. Which was much easier than I had anticipating. Everything I read said to put the nut on hand tight plus a half turn. Well, that was way to tight and the stuffing box was HOT after just a few minutes. Turned out that the correct adjustment was about a 1/4 turn in from leaking sitting still... if that makes sense. Anyway... we rode for about an hour and checked it again, no leak and not hot!!!

I'm still waiting to hear back from Nelems on the Packless shaft seal... but for now I'm on the WATER!!!! Now if it would just warm up enough to wakeboard.

I have a 1999 2200V and I was wondering how much a PSS would be for my boat?

I just had the PSS installed on my 1999 22V and it is great the bottom of the boat stays dry almost all day long now. The bilge pump never kicks on anymore. Just call andrew or harvey at TIGE and they can hook you up with the right part.

Thanks for putting up links to all this stuff. I have a 2000 21V and thought it might be time to replace the flax packing....turns out I already have the PSS!

                        Shaft Seal

What would be the PYI PSS shaft seal product ID for a 99 2100 v ltd, what special tools do I need, how much time should I allow, and can this be done on the trailer?

                        Thanks for the info.

Call tige'. they'll know exactly what you need for your packing. That's what I did.
