    Won't start

Went to the river today backed in and boat won't turn over. All gauges came on, but no alarm chime nor engine crank. Battery is fully charged, deadman switch is in correct position, tranny in nuetral. Checked the 50 amp circuit breaker under engine cover, checked fuses off the ignition switch. Battery cables tight, starter cable tight. At a loss at this point. The boat is a 2007 RZ2 with the MP 5.7 340 HP.

maybe shift throttle fwd then backward then neutral to make sure?!?! Sounds weird

I was moving it around as I was turning the key. It almost acts as if the nuetral safety switch is bad. Not getting the alarm is weird though.

Had this happen this summer, you could hear a click when you engaged the key, but it would not turn over. Turned out to be a slave solenoid on the top of the engine next to the big circuit breaker. 25.00 at the Mercury dealer and 10 minutes to install. Works like a champ now.
