2006 5.7L seize

I made the major mistake of accidentally double gasketing the oil filter. Boat idled in water for less than 5 minutes and then as I took off it stopped. I opened the hatch and saw the oil coming out of the filter. Tried to start again to idle back to dock and it wouldn’t budge. Got on the trailer and dumped oil in hoping it was a sensor stopping the boat from trying to start. Still no budge. Just bought the tool to turn the motor over manually with the harmonic balancer. Anyone else ever have this happen? Anyone have an engine for sale?

Unfortunately that is an expensive mistake. Usually if unless there is rust in the cylinders if the starter can't turn it, it will need a rebuild or replacement. The good thing about it is the 5.7 base engine is relatively common.
