Propeller for Tige 22 spec V

Hi!
I work on a Tige 22 spec V, lq9, produced in 2004, the previous owner installed a 13.5 "x17.5" propeller. Is it correct to use this propeller if the boat is being used as a surf towing boat? will the fuel consumption decrease when using 14 "x14.25" or
14 "x13.75"? thank.

A 17.5 pitch prop is not ideal for a loaded down boat for boarding or surfing. Good chance it will experience a high degree of slip, which the 13.5 dia will also contribute to. Going up in dia and down in pitch could actually improve GPH. It will certainly improve performance.

Id first want to confirm that I had the blue 1.46:1 gear v-drive. This will dictate the use of a 4-blade prop.
