Just remove the single bolt on the bottom. The bottom plate, along with the lines can then be moved out of the way enough to spin off the canister.

2007 22V and yea..its marine power. So the lines at the bottom does have to come off?

What engine do you have in your 22Ve? Sounds like a Marine Power?

If I remember correctly, only one line needs to be removed and it's a cooler line that circulated water.

My fuel separator (located in the canister with the sticker that says dont step on it) doesnt make sense.
I dont understand how the filter cap spins off. There are 2 lines directly under the bottom of it, and the lines are somewhat hard piped...so how does it spin off?
