    Tune Up Tips

I'm planning on doing a tune up this week and was wondering it anyone had any tips/trick to make the process go smooth. Would anyone also know what automotive application (for plugs, wires, cap&rotor, etc.) is compatible for my boat (2000 2100V Limited)? Thanks a lot.

NONE, you need marine parts. Car parts go BOOM!

Tips: Anti-seize on the plug threads, Dielectric grease in the plug boots.

Cool, thanks for the tips. Are the plugs easy to remove? Just glancing at things, it seems like the exhaust might be somewhat in the way.

You will probably want a thin-wall plug socket such as a Mac tools or Snap-On. The cheaper off brand types are typically thick walled and will be hard to get past the manifolds. other than that, maybe a swivel/universal socket and a couple of extensions. The other advantage to a quality plug socket is that they are less likely to crack a plug while installing the new ones. Cheap ones tend to c*o*c*k sideways and crack the insulator.
