What are peoples thoughts on buying spare parts for their boat from the web. What places are people going to, Bakes, SkiDim, etc.
In particular for Marine Power engines.

As far as parts for the engine or boat I get the part number then spend some time surfing the internet to find the best price. I have found that not all parts can be had at the same sites and the cheapest site this time might not be the cheapest next time. You have to also take into consideration the different shipping costs. I have found a couple times that it made more sense to buy a couple of one part and get free shipping instead of just getting one.

Sorry this is bringing up a dead thread - but marineenginedepot.com is a good one! They carry all Marine Power parts.
