Teak swim deck - spring prep

Here's some pics of spring prep on the teak swim deck. I've gone back to old school approach w sanding then teak oil. Takes about 3 hrs total but turns out real well and the deck stays in real good shape thru Sept/Oct. Did not like the results of the "teak kit approach" with cleaner-brightener-then oil. Its my only major spring prep project since boat stays dry and pretty clean in the garage. Used West Marine teak oil. Middle pic is sanding/prep, then start w oil and keep applying over a few days til it won't take anymore.

Looks great... nothing beats TLC and a bit of elbow grease. I am sure that platform will be around for a while.
