I was wondering what I could do to stiffen up this on my floor? The crack isn’t all the way through but if I don’t do something about the crack it likely will. Planning on installing a seadek in my boat soon so wanted to get this done. What kind of material should I use? I was thinking some bondo on each side? Could you not use that section as a template and make a new one?

What material would I use to make a new one? How would I fasten that to the rest of the floor? I've been thinking JB Weld Epoxy and then epoxy over that on both sides of the crack.Comment

Where the blue line is, that is a separate piece. Remove it and make a new one out of Coosa board or marine plywood. template.jpgComment
