I hate to ask but are you sure that the prop size you gave me is correct for a 340hp 07 20v. I can't verify for a few more weeks.

Yes, all the Tige V-drives, as far as I know, are now using the same ACME 537 13.5x16 w/1-1/8th shaft. My 06 has this one, and I looked at 2 07's and 3 08's last week at the dealer because they wrinkled one on a demo ride and was going to swap one off of another if the boat sold.

I bet you already have a ACME prop on your boat if you do just look at the prop the model # will be on it....


And get a C clamp puller... harmonic suck IMO......

My 06 has the ACME 537 on it, didn't know it till TallTige said something about it awhile back, so I went and looked.

I found the prop a couple of places for under $400.00. Unfortunately the weekend saver kits are a little pricey at $150 for the one without bag and $189 for one with bag.

Anyone know where can I find a puller, cotter pin, key and nut?

I can't get to the boat right now so I can't tell what it has on it. It is back in storage 100 miles away. I have asked dealer service manager (to earn his money) to get me info off prop. I hope to get it today after my insomnia and cluster headache goes away. yeow

I bought my ’01 22i last May and it had the factory SS Cutter prop, which did not have as much as a nick on it – boat had 77 hours on it. The boat ran great, but at cruising / skiing speeds I would have vibration and at wakeboard speeds it sometimes would cavitate on double-up turns. I had the boat checked out and also had a prop shaft alignment, but still experienced the same problems.

I called and talked to the guys at Acme and they suggested a 3 blade Nibril for my direct drive an Acme 525. They also had a four blade that they said would perform well, but they really encouraged to give the 3 blade a try. So I ordered the 3 blade and a puller from Delta Prop in Ohio – it shipped the same day.

I agree the stainless prop looked cool, but I have to say there is no comparison in the performance. I felt like I was driving a new boat – better hole shot, perfect pass held tighter, no cavitaton, and no vibration at any speeds. I do keep the SS as a spare and Delta sells a puller kit in a case for $110, which did a good job. Did not mean to come across as an infomercial for Delta and Acme, but could not help from sharing such a good experience. Good luck.

From what I researched last night and early this am ACME props are rated real well. Their balance is great and supposedly very little vibration. Virtually none from what I read. It is amazing that I can read

My spare will be an ACME 537 which hopefully I will order after I leave work and eat my dinner. How I am looking so forward to fish sticks. ugh

When I finally get to break my boat cherry I will be broke...Oh well it will look good for a candy corn theme...

I received my spare prop and Weekend saver kit yesterday. I sent my check to SPBFAN last week and he got the prop and weekend prop saver to me in 4 days. The prop is an ACME 537. Is neat to the CNC marks.

I researched prices on the internet and SPBFAN met the best price I could find on the prop and beat the best price I could find on the weekend prop saver.

The bag is great to hold the prop in something where the prop will not damage your boat when stored in boat. Only thing I do not like is the cresent wrench but it is a 12 inch wrench and it will get the job done. It is just personal preference. I dislike all cresent wrenches. This is a good crescent wrench and should get the job done.
