Ditto!! Mine are kinda at funky angles when I tie off. The stern ones are fine but the aft ones are barely in front of the drivers seat--kinda dumb IMO, but maybe there is agood reason for it. One right in the middle of the bow would probably be a great idea.

Try only having one cleat on each side by the rear tower mount!
I use elastic
, but I put one about 18" from the back corner on the top of the gunwale, and one on each side by the front tower mounts. I had my neighbor make me some big-ole backing plates out of Aluminum, and they don't budge. Had it tied up in a big-a$$ windstorm at the lake last year, with no problems.
