That will depend on the trailer it sits on and where the axle position is relative to the boats weight distribution on the trailer.
Example if its a V drive and the axles are too far forward, tonqe weight would be less than an inboard with axles too far rearward. Trailers for these boats are typically set up specific for what will be resting in between the bunks.I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

I am wanting to pull my boat with my class c motorhome, and the manufaturer is saying the tounge weight should be less than 350 pounds. It has the stock hitch on it. Any suggestions? I see people pulling boats all the time with motor homes, just not sure if they have beefed up the hitch. Thank you all for your replies.

My question would be what is the tow rating of the C class motorhome? 6000Lb or more? Also, to tow the boat you have, it should be a class IV tow hitch, and not a hitch mounted to the bumper.Originally posted by Yessup View PostI am wanting to pull my boat with my class c motorhome, and the manufaturer is saying the tounge weight should be less than 350 pounds. We tow with a 1985 26' Itasca Class C which has a factory V-5 hitch - 10,000 lb trailer / 1,000 lb tongue. We're looking at a newer 2003 31' Class C, but the hitches they come with are 5,000 lb trailer / 350 or 500 lb tongue. Not as nice, but still seems adequate. I really like the 10' between the rear tires and the hitch ball on ours. We can launch on any ramp and the tires are on dry pavement.Originally posted by Yessup View PostI am wanting to pull my boat with my class c motorhome, and the manufaturer is saying the tounge weight should be less than 350 pounds.
