A few of the plastic/teflon washers chpthril suggested will be effictively the same as making a spacer wedge. It is probably also the easiest and cheapest to test. It gets my vote.

Agree. Go for Plan A first. If still a problem after a couple of trips, maybe shaving the washers to a wedge on starboard side only if needed. Or combining plan A and B, if necessary - to add the wedge under the rod support connector.

Microsoft Office Picture Manager to manage the jpeg photos: crop, resize...

Microsoft Powerpoint to use drawing tools:
For accurate initial draw if photo available - import jpeg photo to power point, "trace" over the areas you want to replicate using drawing tool. Delete jpeg photo, drawing left, or keep photo with overlay drawing marks. Then you can copy mirror images, rotate...... on and on.

Then export powerpoint file "save as" to jpeg format.
