teak cleaning

I used that star brite 3 step care kit and was not impressed. After a little belt sander lovin and some teak oil, it now looks brand new.

My Regal was bleached bad like this. After using the restore kit, it looked real good. After that, I just re-oiled once a year.

Yah, it's the quickest I could find, all my Regal pics are in 35mm. Thanks for letting me "barrow" it

I scaned mine but your Regal was an i/o correct, how was the platform mounted with the out drive?

It looked exactly like this one. "L" brackets and supports.

Beautiful thing about it is that if you don't like it, you can always start over again and try another method.

You have to remember that mostly inboards have the platforms at water level.

Not i/o's the full platform all the way across the back has to be above water level on most i/o's due to the fact that you have to trim the lower unit up for trailering.

Some i/o's have 2 platforms one small one on each side of the boat.

That's correct, maybe about 8" above waterline.
