    Taps Ram

What type of silicone is used to attach the ram to the back of the hull. I know I can use silicone but I know there is another type of material that Tige uses. Is clear silicone good enough?
Just looking for a quick answer.

You need a non-permanent marine sealer for below water line applications. Silicone typically is not correct. Boatlife life seal or 3m 4200 are good examples.

The local boat store had some sikaflex. I will clean as much silicone out of the hole that I can. Yes someone else used silicone in there. I also tightened the nut 6 or 7 good cranks it seemed quite loose. I also am replacing the taps pump mine was dead and had frothy oil in the tank. Read some posts on this site about how to test the pump and it was nfg. Thanks Mike for the response.
