    Windshield Support Paint

Blank paint on these supports is flaking off.. Don't know what's causing it. I always tow with the middle glass shut, and never wrap or tie anything to them, but there are little specks of black everywhere.. Any ideas what's causing and how to stop it, other than pulling them off to repaint?

Wow, I've never seen that happen before. Is the other side doing the same thing?
I would just repaint or have it powder coated.

Yes both sides equally as bad.. just snapped this side cause I was mad looking at it cruising down the lake.. Even more mad when I get home after a long day, and have to scrub black specks off the seats...

Just sand them down and polish them up. Mine are chrome and I think they look better that way.

I think I like that idea... Guess I'll add that to my off season list...
